Physical Education - Grade 8

By the end of eighth grade, each student should be able to demonstrate the following:

1.0 Applies the correct skill techniques to a variety of team activities.

2.1 Applies previous learning in the learning of a new skill.

2.2 Analyzes movement performance using spin and rebound.

2.3 Creates a team game.

3.0 Sets personal goals and monitors progress in physical activities.

4.0 Assesses personal fitness and refines one-week personal fitness plan.

5.0 Collaboratively solves problems in physical activity settings.

6.1 Analyzes how height and weight alters performance and the selection of activities.

6.2 Describes movement activities in the United States during the 19th and 20th centuries.

7.0 Appreciates someone else's approach to movement activities.
